Description
After the first press, olive pomace oil is produced from the olive pulp. After the mechanical oil extraction of olive oil is finished, about 5–8% of the oil is still in the pulp and must be extracted using solvents, an industrial process used to produce the majority of other edible oils, such as canola, peanut, sunflower, etc.
